“Macro Photography at its Best”

In the world of macro photography and wildflower photography, it is a challenge to create depth of field.  It takes photographic attention to composition, exposure and the elements (like wind, sun, clouds, shade) in the immediate environment.  However, when finding these flowers and concentrating on replicating their image, I do  become aware of the magnificence of the simple beauty around me.  I hope that my photographs honor this creative spirit of life.   Macro photography is a challenge, however, it allows me to focus on, and appreciate, the essence of life.

  1. All three are exceptionally beautiful; I particularly love the yellow blossom and the third one which appears to be a columbine. The sharpness is exquisite and I so love the saturated colors. Beautiful. Judy
