“Free-Form Shapes and Patterns”

These photographs were taken at Rocky Mountain National Park in a special haven that I found off the trail to Alberta Falls.  Actually, I was daydreaming one day when hiking and inadvertently lost my way.  I started to hear a thunderous sound and came across this cascade of water that is an overwhelming sight during spring mountain run-off.  Now, I intentionally take this trail to “check out” the cascading water and its dimensional shapes and patterns.  The feature image with this post has a great composition with both the water and rock creating upward arcing shapes.  The vertical photograph below highlights the beauty and ease of  free-flowing movement through ever-present obstacles.  Actually, this represents a great way to live life with grace and poise.  If I stop resisting and move with the flow, maybe life’s challenges might become opportunities with a different perspective.
